Copiague

Town in Babylon, Suffolk County, southeastern New York, USA, near the southern shore of Long Island and immediately to the northeast of Amityville; population (1990) 20,800. It is primarily residential.

The Brooklyn-born developer was a physical education teacher, first in Patchogue and later in Copiague, after graduating from Southern Connecticut State College, where he met his wife, the former Pamela Bendix.
