Coral Sea Islands Territory

Group of islands in the Coral Sea, northeast of Queensland, Australia, and southeast of Papua New Guinea; it is a territory of Australia with a total area of 1,000,000 sq km/386,000 sq mi, although the actual land area is only around 3 sq km/1.2 sq mi. The islands are uninhabited apart from a crewed meteorological station on the Willis group of islands.
