| French dancer and choreographer. He made his debut as a dancer 1802. He choreographed Le Diable boîteux 1836 for the Austrian ballerina Fanny Elssler (1810–1884), Giselle 1841, and La Péri 1843 for the Italian ballerina Carlotta Grisi (1819–1899). |
