Coralville

City in Johnson County, east-central Iowa, USA, on the Iowa River, immediately west of Iowa City; population (1998 est) 10,300. Incorporated in 1873, it is a residential suburb of Iowa City.

The city was named after ancient coral formations found beneath it (1866). It hosts the heritage museum of Johnson County.

Coralville Reservoir is just to the north, along the river.
