Cordiner, Ralph Jarron (1900-1973)

US corporate executive. He spent virtually his entire career at General Electric, where variously president, chairman of the board, and CEO 1950-63, he implemented an innovative and widely copied decentralized management structure.

He was born near Walla Walla, Washington. He explained his management ideas in New Frontiers for Professional Managers (1956).
