corporate culture

Cultural identity of a company. Corporate culture is a combination of factors such as company values, working conditions, employee benefits, and even office design. Different industries have reputations for particular types of corporate culture. Accountancy firms are typically regarded as having formal, stuffy, regimented corporate cultures, while advertising agencies supposedly have vibrant, lively, fun cultures. In reality, the lines are not so clearly defined. As firms struggle to find talented employees, corporate culture assumes increasing importance in attracting and retaining the best staff.
