Demonstration in London on 4 March 1998 to promote understanding of the issues facing rural Britain. Issues that had caused controversy and led to the march included the 1997 bill to ban hunting with dogs, and government policies on farming. Around 250,000 people joined the march through central London.

I was on the Countryside March myself, so I can't say people should not demonstrate but it has to be within the law and, if it is, then that's absolutely fine.
