Court of Arches
| In the UK, ecclesiastical court of the archbishop of Canterbury, so called because it was originally held at the church of St Mary of the Arches, now St Mary-le-Bow. It has power to deal with suits sent up from the consistory courts of the province of Canterbury. The presiding judge is the dean of the Arches. |
