Covina

City in Los Angeles County, southwestern California, USA, 32 km/20 mi east of Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley; population (1990) 43,200. Covina is a commuter suburb with some light industry.

Covina was a growing and shipping centre for citrus fruits from the 1880s until the 1950s. West Covina is much larger.
