Craig, Harmon

Craig, Harmon (1926– )

US oceanographer. He made major contributions to the chemical relationships of lakes and oceans, the atmosphere, and land formations.

He was born in New York City. He served the University of Chicago 1951–55, then joined the University of California at San Diego 1955–65, and its Scripps Institute of Oceanography in 1965.
