Crassus the Younger, Marcus Licinius

Roman general, grandson of the triumvir Marcus Licinius Crassus the Elder. He fought first with Sextus Pompeius and Mark Antony before defecting to Octavian (later the emperor Augustus). In 29 BC he defeated the Bastarnae of modern Romania and Bulgaria, killing their king, Deldo, in single combat.
