Craterus (died 321 BC)

Macedonian general. When Alexander the Great died 323 BC, Craterus became joint regent of Macedonia and Greece with the general Antipater. He assisted Antipater in the defeat of the Greeks at Crannon 322 BC. He died in battle against the general Eumenes of Cardia in the following year.
