Crau, La
| Area in the département of Bouches-du-Rhône, France. Composed of ancient depositional fans of the Rivers Rhône and Durance, it was a stony desert used primarily for the raising of sheep. Irrigation from the Craponne and Langlade canals has developed part of the region into a prosperous agricultural district. |
