Craven, Wayne (1930- )

US art historian and writer. Regarded as a leading historian of American sculpture, he published numerous works, including Sculpture in America: The Colonial Period to the Present (1984).

He was born in Pontiac, Illinois. He graduated from Indiana University and gained a Phd from Columbia University. He taught at the University of Delaware (1960).
