Crestwood

Town in Cook County, northeastern Illinois, USA, on the Calumet Sag Channel, 27 km/17 mi southwest of Chicago; population (1990) 10,800. Crestwood is a residential suburb of Chicago.

The Illinois State Police Headquarters and Howell Airport are here. A forest preserve is just to the west.

City in St Louis County, east-central Missouri, USA, 19 km/12 mi southwest of downtown St Louis; population (1990) 11,200. Primarily a residential suburb, it also has some light industry.
