Creve Coeur

City in St Louis County, east-central Missouri, USA, 21 km/13 mi west-northwest of downtown St Louis; population (1990) 12,300. Essentially a residential suburb, Creve Coeur has some light industry. Monsanto, the chemical company, has its headquarters here.
