Crow Dog (born Kargi Sunka) (c. 1835–c. 1910)

American Indian Brûle Sioux chief. His conviction for the murder of Chief Spotted Tail was set aside by a landmark US Supreme Court ruling, which stated that the US government had no jurisdiction over crimes committed on Indian lands. In the 1880s he joined the Ghost Dance religious revivalist movement.

He was born in the northern Great Plains.
