Cuanza

One of the main rivers in Angola; length 886 km/551 mi. It flows northwest into the Atlantic Ocean south of Luanda. Rice is grown in the adjoining wetlands. The river can be navigated as far as the Cambambe Falls, a distance of 192 km/119 mi from its mouth.
