Cubango

Name of the Okavango River in Angola. For part of its length it forms the border between Angola and Namibia. At the western end of the Caprivi Strip it crosses into Namibia and is known as the Kavango River; it becomes known as the Okavango River (see Okavango Delta) when it enters Botswana.
