Cuckfield

Town in West Sussex, England; population (2001) 4,800. Cuckfield is a medieval market town on the Sussex Weald, with a 13th-14th-century church and interesting 16th-17th-century houses. To the southeast lie the gardens of Nymans, laid out in the early 20th century and now owned by the National Trust.
