Cunningham, Glenn (1909–1988)

US track athlete. After overcoming severe leg burns suffered in a childhood accident, he established a world record for the mile in 1934 and won the silver medal in the 1500 metre race in the 1936 Olympics.

He was born in Elkhart, Kansas.
