Curtin, Andrew Gregg (1817-1894)

US politician. He was secretary to the commonwealth of Pennsylvania 1855, and Republican governor 1860. During the Civil War he supported President Abraham Lincoln. He was minister to Russia 1869, and joined the Democrats 1872, serving in Congress 1881-87.
