Dagupan

Municipality and port of Pangasinan province on northern Luzon Island in the Philippines, situated at the southern end of Lingayen Gulf on the San Pedro River; population (1995) 126,200. Exports include sugar, fish, fruit, copra, rice, and salt. It is an important trading and educational centre.

Dagupan came into being in 1590 when Augustinian monks declared the community of Bacnotan to be a town.

11) Captain Mead was authorized to examine the feasibility of constructing a rail link between the existing terminus at Dagupan in Pangasinan and Baguio on September 12, 1900.
The facilities are located in the cities of Pasay, Paranque, Muntinlupa, San Fernando, Malolos, Olongapo, Dagupan, Cabanatuan, Quezon City, Cebu and Baguio.
