Dalibor

Opera by Bedřich Smetana (libretto in German, by J Wenzig, translated into Czech by E Špindler), first produced at the Czech Theatre, Prague, on 16 May 1868. In the story Milada attempts to rescue the imprisoned Dalibor, but her plan is betrayed and both die in a final battle.
