Dallin, Cyrus Edwin (1861–1944)

US sculptor. He studied in Boston and Paris, before teaching at the Massachusetts State Art School (1900–40). He is known for his American Indian subjects.

He was born in Springville, Utah, and grew up in the West. His The Appeal to the Great Spirit of 1908 stands in front of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts.
