Dalton, Timothy (1946– )

Welsh stage and screen actor, whose international reputation was established when he assumed the Bond mantle in The Living Daylights (1987).

He also played the part of James Bond in Licence to Kill (1989). Other films include Flash Gordon (1979), The Doctor and the Devils (1985), The King's Whore (1989), The Rocketeer (1990), Cleopatra (1998), and Possessed (1999). Television appearances include Jane Eyre (1984), and Mistral's Daughter. Stage appearances include Romeo and Juliet (1980), and Henry VI, Part I (1981), both with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
