Dance Suite

Work for orchestra in six movements by Béla Bartók, composed in 1923 for the 50th anniversary of the merging of Pest, Buda, and Obuda into Budapest. It was first performed in Budapest, Hungary, on 19 November 1925, conducted by Ernst von Dohnányi. A version for piano was arranged in 1925.
