Town in Broward County, southeast Florida; population (1990) 13,024. It is situated on the northern outskirts of Hollywood, Florida. A winter vacation spot and a residential community, Dania also processes and ships citrus fruit and vegetables. Danish immigrants first settled here in 1896.
