Daniel-Lesur, adopted name of Daniel Jean Yves Lesur (1908–2002)| French organist and composer. In 1938 he became professor of counterpoint at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. He was also appointed organist at the Benedictine abbey. With Yves Baudrier, André Jolivet, and Olivier Messiaen, he formed the group known as ‘La Jeune France’ in 1936. |
