Darab

Town in Fars province, Iran, 250 km/155 mi southeast of Shiraz; population (2001 est) 51,700. Darab is surrounded by groves of oranges and lemons.

A large sculptured bas-relief commemorating the victory of Shapur I over the Roman Emperor Valerian in AD 260 is nearby.
