Dargue, Herbert Arthur (1886–1942)

US aviator. During the 1920s and 1930s, he developed a broad vision of the uses and importance of air power. He was in command of the 1st Air Force at Mitchell Field, New York, at the time of his death.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from West Point in 1911.
