Dariganga

A Mongolian people numbering only 30,000. Their language is a dialect of Khalka, the official language of Mongolia. In the past, the Dariganga were nomads, and lived by breeding camels for use in the Chinese imperial army. With the rise of the communist regime in China, they supported the new Mongolian state, and have become sedentary livestock farmers.
