Darke, Harold (Edwin) (1888–1976)

English organist and composer. He studied organ with Parratt and composition with Stanford at the Royal College of Music in London. He was organist at St Michael's, Cornhill, 1916–66.

The Kingdom of God for soprano, chorus, and orchestra, Ring out ye crystal spheres (Milton) for chorus, organ, and orchestra, other choral works including O Lord Thou art my God, Hymn of Heavenly Beauty (Spenser); church music; organ works; songs.
