Deûle

River in the départements of Pas-de-Calais and Nord, northern France; length 68 km/42 mi. It is a tributary of the Lys, which unites with the Schelde in Belgium. Rising near Carency, the Deûle flows through Lille and Quesnoy, joining the main river near Deûlément.
