The second part reports on work done by researchers using observation and interviews to assess the cultures of managers in different countries: Kras (1989), De Forest (1994), and Shimoni & Bergmann (2006). De Forest (1850-1932), an early business partner of Louis Comfort Tiffany, made his mark as an artistic decorator who specialized in East Indian furnishings. He is usually associated with the Aesthetic and Art Noveau movement and was also a member of the prestigious Associated Artists along with other well known artists of the time including Samuel Colman, Lockwood De Forest and Candace Wheeler. |
