Delamere Forest

Area of natural beauty in northwest Cheshire, England, covering about 16 sq km/6 sq mi of natural woodland and planted forest. Delamere Forest has infertile sandy soils unsuited to farming. It is a recreation area for people from neighbouring towns, and includes two ancient British camps.
