Inflammation of the skin (see eczema), usually related to allergy. Dermatosis refers to any skin disorder and may be caused by contact or systemic problems.

Dermatitis herpetiformis is a highly itchy skin rash (sometimes mistaken for atopic dermatitis) associated with gluten-sensitive enteropathy (Hall 1987).
These two Anti-Gliadin kits are Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA) procedures for the quantitative detection of gliadin antibodies that can assist physicians in the diagnosis of certain gluten sensitive enteropathies such as celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and atopic dermatitis.
