calcium hydrogenphosphate

Substance made by heating calcium phosphate with 70% sulphuric acid. It is more soluble in water than calcium phosphate, and is used as a fertilizer.

Their technique involves treating teeth with aqueous solutions or gels that will cause some of the apatite -- a structural mineral in tooth enamel -- to convert into dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, or DCPD.
