Dicey, Albert Venn (1835-1922)

English jurist and writer on constitutional law. His main works are Lectures Introductory to the Study of the Law of the Constitution, 1885, and Lectures on the Relation between Law and Public Opinion in England during the Nineteenth Century, 1905.

In 1854 Dicey went to study law at Balliol College, Oxford. He was made a barrister in 1863, and a QC in 1890.
