DVI

In computing, a powerful compression and decompression system for digital video and audio. DVI enables 72 minutes of full-screen, full-motion video and its audio track to be stored on a CD-ROM. Originally developed in the mid-1980s by the US firm RCA, DVI is now owned by Intel and has active support from IBM and Microsoft. It can be used on the hard disk of a PC as well as on a CD-ROM.
