ICDL GCC Foundation, the governing body and certification authority of the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) programme in the Gulf region, recently presented an appreciation award to Dubai Public Libraries for its continuous contributions towards the advancement of digital literacy in the UAE.
Rania Al Qaisi, Spokesperson, ICDL GCC Foundation, said, "Partner schools like Azzan Bin Qais play a key role in our efforts to promote digital literacy in Oman.
Cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has yielded several bilateral projects aimed at increasing the technology available in schools and promoting digital literacy among both students and teachers.
