Dimbokro

Town in central Côte d'Ivoire, 160 km/100 mi north of Abidjan and 70 km/44 mi southeast of Yamoussoukro, on the main railway line from Abidjan to Bouaké; population (2001 est) 72,000. Textiles and clothing-manufacture are important industries, with rice, cocoa, cotton, and rubber cultivated around the town.
