Pixar

Hollywood animation company bought by Steve Jobs in 1986. Pixar became a leader in computer animation and released award-winning feature films in partnership with Walt Disney Pictures, including Toy Story (1995) – the first ever feature-length computer-animated cartoon film, A Bug's Life (1998), Finding Nemo (2003), The Incredibles (2004) – which won two academy awards – and Ratatouille (2007). Pixar was acquired by The Walt Disney Company (Disney) in 2006.
