Dinslaken

City in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, close to the right bank of the Rhine, 18 km/11 mi north of Duisburg; population (1994) 68,100. Iron, steel, and shoemaking industries predominate. Each summer, an international jazz festival is held in Dinslaken.
