Dion, Céline (1968– )

Canadian pop singer. She sings in French and English. Winner of the Eurovision song contest in 1988, she reached international stardom with her single ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (for the Disney movie), which won an Academy Award and a Grammy. Her hit albums include Celine Dion (1992), The Colour of My Love (1993), Falling into You (1996), and Let's Talk about Love (1997), including the hit single from the film Titanic, ‘My Heart Will Go On’, which won an Academy Award.

Later albums include A New Day Has Come (2001) and Miracle (2004).

She was born in Charlemagne, near Montréal, Québec, Canada.
