In statistics, the pattern of frequency for a set of data. This pattern can be displayed as a frequency diagram.

distribution

In commerce, the process by which goods are sent from manufacturers through to the consumer. Channels of distribution usually involve both wholesalers and retailers. Distribution or place is one of the four elements (or four Ps) of the marketing mix. It is important for a business to get its product distributed in the right outlets if it is to generate sales at the right price.
