Dod, Charles Roger Phipps (1793-1855)

Irish-born British journalist. The son of a rector from Drumlease in County Leitrim, he settled in London in 1818, and worked for 23 years on The Times. He started the Parliamentary Companion in 1832, and a Peerage in 1841.
