Dogger Bank

Submerged sandbank in the North Sea, about 115 km/70 mi off the coast of Yorkshire, England. It is about 270 km/168 mi long by 110 km/68 mi wide. In places the water is only 11 m/36 ft deep, but the general depth is 18–36 m/60–120 ft; it is a well-known fishing ground.
