Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Town forming part of the Montréal Urban Community, south Québec, Canada; population (1991) 46,900. It is situated 16 km/10 mi west-southwest of downtown Montréal, northwest of Dorval, east of Pierrefonds, and north of Pointe-Claire. It is a largely anglophone residential suburb that grew rapidly in the 1970s.
