Domaninská, Libuše (1924- )

Czech soprano. She sang at Brno 1945-55, then joined the Prague National Theatre; she visited Edinburgh with the company in 1964 and sang Milada in the first British performance of Smetana's Dalibor. Her best roles were Janáček's Vixen, Jenůfa, and Káta Kabanová. She sang at the Vienna Staatsoper 1958-68.
